Lake Surgery moving to Taupō Medical Centre
Lake Surgery will merge with Taupō Medical Centre on Monday August 21, 2023 and move into their premises at 117 Te Heuheu Street, Taupo.
This allows us to enhance the quality of care we provide and broaden the range of medical services available to our patients.
By combining our clinical resources, we can offer a more comprehensive and integrated approach to your healthcare needs that is sustainable well into the future.
We are in the process of securing two more GPs to join the team, which is great news for Taupō.

What this move means for our patients:
- From Monday 21 August 2023, all appointments will be held at Taupo Medical Centre premises, 117 Te Heuheu Street.
- If you already have an appointment booked this will be kept, but from 21 August, you will be seen at Taupo Medical Centre.
- To schedule new appointments from 21 August, please contact the Taupo Medical Centre practice on 07 378 4080.
- Consultation prices remain unchanged so we can continue to offer low cost, affordable appointments to our patients.
- You do not need to fill in any forms and your full medical record will be available at the new location including current account balances.
